SLBSGMC&H Blood Centre is situated at the basement area of the main hospital building. The Blood Centre has been updated in accordance to the latest amendments of Drugs & Cosmetics Rules 1940. It has a private counseling area, facility for four donations at a time and a refreshment room with lucrative visual motivational themes to encourage voluntary donors. It has built- in laboratories, equipped with highly sophisticated modern testing techniques such as ELISA for the screening of the blood.
